There are a lot of solutions to this problem, so I'm only going to list 10. The only requirement is that the quadrilateral must be a rectangle with a perimeter of 120 meters.
1) 30, 30, 30, 30. I know that this is a square, but it should still be a solution since all squares are rectangles.
2) 50, 50, 10, 10.
3) 55, 55, 5, 5.
4) 45, 45, 15, 15.
5) 40, 40, 20, 20.
6) 35, 35, 25, 25.
7) 36, 36, 24, 24.
8) 18, 18, 52, 52.
9) 14, 14, 48, 48
10) 6, 6, 54, 54.

Curtis wants to build a model building.
The building height is 180 meter tall.
Now, the model building she wants to build is equals to 1.5cm on each 3.5 meters
Let’s find how tall Curtis’ building model is:
=>  180 meter / 3.5 meter
=> 51.429 meter
Now, let’s multiply this 1 by 1.5 cm
=>  51.429 x 1.5 cm
=> 77.143 centimeters
Round to the nearest tenths
=> 77.1 centimeter tall => the height of Curtis’ Model Building

The area of a mirror is 225 square inches, and its width is 13 3/4 inches. Will the mirror fit in a space that is 15 inches by 16 inches? Explain

If you multiply length times width to get area, it's the same with division. You do area divided by length or width. The equation would be 225 divided by 13 3/4. 225/13 3/4= 16.36 inches. 16.36 > 16 inches, so the answer would be no. (The mirrors length and width are 13 3/4 inches by 16 9/25)

The area of a rectangular picture frame is 30 1/3 square inches. The length of the frame is 6 1/2. Find the width of the width

Answer:

\texttt{Width of rectangular picture frame}=4\frac{2}{3}inch

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a rectangular picture frame is 30 1/3 square inches. The length of the frame is 6 1/2.

\texttt{Length of rectangular picture frame = }6\frac{1}{2}=\frac{6\times 2+1}{2}=\frac{13}{2}inch

\texttt{Area of rectangular picture frame = }30\frac{1}{3}=\frac{30\times 3+1}{3}=\frac{91}{3}inch^2

Area of rectangle = length x width

We have

  \frac{91}{3}=\frac{13}{2}\times \texttt{Width}\\\\\texttt{Width}=\frac{91}{3}\times \frac{2}{13}=\frac{14}{3}=4\frac{2}{3}inch

\texttt{Width of rectangular picture frame}=4\frac{2}{3}inch

Well we know the perimeter of a rectangle is:
width+width+Length+Length=2W+2L=P
We know P=34 and we know the width so now we have
2(6.5)+2L=34
2×6.5=13
Now we have 13+2L=34 for your equation.

Which set of numbers can represent the side lengths, in centimeters, of a right triangle? A. 8,12,15 B. 10,24,26 C. 12,20,25 D. 15,18,20

For right angle triangles, we can apply pythagora's theorem, which states that the square of the longest side, the hypotenuse, is equivalent to the sum of the squares of the other two sides; mathematically this is: c^2 = a^2 + b^2. We check to see which one of the options satisfy this equation, taking the longes side to be c. In the case of B, 26^2 = 676 and 10^2 + 24^2 = 676, so B is the answer.

You are traveling in a car that is moving at a velocity of 20 m/s. suddenly a car 10 meters in front of you slams on its brakes. at the moment you also slam on your brakes and slow to 5 m/s. calculate the acceleration if it took 3 seconds to slow your car down

Answer

Find out the calculate the acceleration if it took 3 seconds to slow your car down .

To prove

The formula of the accleration is given by

a = \frac{v_{f} - v_{i}}{t}

where\ v_{f}\ is\ the\ final\ velocity.

where\ v_{i}\ is\ the\ intial\ velocity.

t is the time.

As given

you are traveling in a car that is moving at a velocity of 20 m/s.

suddenly a car 10 meters in front of you slams on its brakes.

at the moment you also slam on your brakes and slow to 5 m/s and it take 3 seconds.

v_{f} = 5m/s

v_{i} = 20m/s

t = 3s

put all the value in the formula

a = \frac{5 - 20}{3}

a = \frac{-15}{3}

a = -5 m/s²

Therefore the acceleration is -5 m/s² .
