An ecosystem is very likely to be changed due to various conditions such as a change in the temperature, rate of precipitation level, pressure in that area, the moisture content in the air, and the wind. These factors are responsible for the slow and rapid changes in the ecosystem.

The slow changes are sometimes helpful to the ecosystem. The increase in the amount of sunlight and rainfall provides nutrients to the soil, and helps in the growth of different plant species and maintains a favorable condition for the organisms to exist in an ecosystem.  

The slow rise in the temperature allows some of the species to adapt to that environmental condition and those that cannot adapt migrate to the regions of higher latitude for their survival.

Thus, the slow change in the ecosystem allows the organisms to adapt to that particular environment without losing their habitat and making it more suitable to live in it.
