Are all americans 'better off " in comparison to people of other wealthy nations?

Of course, the United States has its problems as all countries do, but I think Americans usually have it better than people of other countries.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that ALL Americans are better off, as there are people who have it hard in all parts of the States. Also, it doesn't really matter much how wealthy a nation is because their people could still be suffering. Take South Korea for example. They have one of the most technogically advanced nations in the world, yet their society is... strange to say the least.

Most Americans that suffer poverty still don't suffer the same kind that other countries suffer- they suffer "American poverty," which is a more emotional poverty whereas other people suffer more physical poverty. Many homeless Americans just can go to a homeless house. Homeless Indians or Jamaicans or so probably have to sleep on the streets. Suffering is still suffering though I suppose.
