Triangle XYZ is equilateral with vertices located on circle W. Which measurments are correct? Check all that apply.options are in the picture please help soon

we know that

if XYZ is an equilateral triangle

then

 side\ XZ=side\ XY=side\ YZ

 ZXY =∠ XYZ =∠ YZX = 60 °

in the circle W

 arc\  XY=arc\  XZ=arc\ YZ=\frac{360}{3}=120  °

XZW, ZYW and XYW are isosceles triangles congruents

So

case a)  measure\  arc\  XY=60 °

Is False, because

 measure\  arc\  XY=120 °

case b)  measure\  arc\  YZ=120 °

Is True (explanation above)

case c )  measure\  arc\ ZX=180 °

Is False, because

 measure\  arc\  ZX=120 °

case d)  measure  XWZ=60 °

Is False, because

 measure  XWZ=120 °

in the isosceles triangle XWZ

 measure  XWZ=120 °

 measure  ZXW=30 °

 measure  XZW=30 °

 side\ WZ=side\ WX=radius

case e)  measure  YWZ=120 °

Is True

in the isosceles triangle YWZ

 measure  YWZ=120 °

 measure  ZYW=30 °

 measure  YZW=30 °

 side\ WZ=side\ WY=radius

therefore

the answer is

 measure\  arc\  YZ=120 °

 measure  YWZ=120 °

Kaya used 7 cups of flour to bake 5 cakes how much flour on average did she put in each cake ? Write your answer as a decimal.

So I would set up a porportion: 7 cups flour over 5 cakes. 7/5.

Then the other half would be: x cups over 1 cake. x/1

Set the two equal to each other 7/5=x/1

Cross multiply: 5x=7

Divide to solve for x: x=7/5
x=1.4 cups.

So just used about 1.4 cups of flours per cake.

How does the position of the decimal changes in a quotient as you divied by 10 100 1000

 When you multiply whole numbers by 10, 100, 1000, and so on (powers of ten), you can simply “tag” as many zeros on the product as there are in the factor 10, 100, 1000 etc.There is a similar shortcut for multiplying decimal numbers by numbers such as 10, 100, and 1000:

Move the decimal point to the right as many places as there are zeros in the factor.
10 × 0.49 = 04.9 = 4.9    Move the decimal point one step to the right (10 has one zero).100 × 2.6 = 265. = 265    Move the decimal point two steps to the right (100 has two zeros). The number 265. is 265 (as shown above).1000 × 0.370 = 370. = 370        1000 means we move the point three steps. Write a zero at the end of 0.37 so that the decimal point can “jump over to” that place.

Ms Whittier wrote the following on the board: the product of 6 and the sum of 4 and 5 She asked the students in her class to write an expression to represent what she wrote. PART A: Sherry wrote the following expression: 6x4x5 Did Sherry write a correct expression? Explain why or why not. PART B: Write two different expressions to represent what Ms. Whittier wrote. Explain how you know they are both correct.

Sherry didn't write the correct expression, the correct expression should have been 6×(4+5) or 6×(5+4). Sherry found the product of 6,5, and 4, instead of the product of 6 and the sum of 5 and 4. In addition, the two expressions above are both correct because both do represent the product of 6 and the sum of 5 and 4. Furthermore, 5+4 and 4+5 are the same.

QUESTION POSTED AT 28/02/2020 - 06:03 AM

5/6 - 6/8 I need to find the correct anser for This so po favor help gracias

This is simple. All you do is find a multiple of 6 and 8. Which is 24. So what times 8 is 24? Well 3 x 8 is 24 and what times 6 is 24? 4 x 6 is 24. So what ever you do to the bottom, you do to the top, so now the equation is 5/24 - 6/24. But we are not done. Now since we timed 6 by 4, to get 24 you times 5 x 4, which is 20. Then you times 3 x 6 because 8 x 3 is 24. So now it is 20/24 - 18/24 which is 2/24, which can be simplified into 1/12.

We can check the end terms first

for
(a+b)(c+d), the first term of the expanded is ac and the last term is bd

so
the expanded is x^3 and last is +7

jane will have a lst term of -7 so no
mariah wil have last term of -7 as well, so no
only rojer and nethan have last tem of +7

so we can do the rest of it by doing the OL part of FOIL

do either roger or nethan
let's do nethan

F=x^3
O=-7x
I=-x^2
L=7
yep

it is nethan

Corey spent $17.00 including sales tax on 2 sandwiches and 3 drinks the sandwiches cost $5.25 each and the total sales tax was $0.92. Fill in the table with the correct prices.

First we can subtract the sales tax so we are just working with what's left: $17 - $0.92 = $16.08. Then we multiply the price of the sandwiches by 2 for the number Corey bought: 5.25 x 2 = $10.50. Then subtract that amount from what you have left: $16.08 - 10.50 = 5.58. Then, take that amount and divide it by three drinks: $5.58 / 3(drinks) = $1.86 per drink. I don't see the table so I hope this answers the question well enough!:)
