x' = [-b+√(b²-4ac)]/2a and x" = [-b-√(b²-4ac)]/2a

6 = x² – 10x ; x² - 10x -6 =0

(a=1, b= - 10 and c = - 6

x' = [10+√(10²+4(1)(-6)]/2(1) and x" = [10-√(10²+4(1)(-6)]/2(1)

x' =5+√31 and x' = 5-√31

x' = [-b+√(b²-4ac)]/2a and x" = [-b-√(b²-4ac)]/2a
