If gm crops can decrease pesticide use, why are environmentalists still concerned about them? (scenario gm)

Because gm crops can't replace everything. yes even they can make a better species and increase the productivity, but some countries or farmers might not have the technology to replace all the crops with gm crops, and they still have to rely on chemical fertilisers. chemical fertilisers can be deadly as if u overuse them, it can pollute the water and leading to euthrophication, where it can kill sea animals

The correct answer is the Pressure Gradient Force.

That's the force that results when there is a difference in pressure across a surface. In reality, it always goes from a state of high pressure to a state of lower pressure if there are no other forces actively working on the surface and counteracting the force.

QUESTION POSTED AT 26/05/2020 - 08:59 PM

The volume of a cylinder is 980π in3. The radius of the cylinder is 7 in. What is its height? 10 in. 20 in. 140 in. 70 in. Description

First, you have to set up the equation. In this case, we would plug in what we know into the volume of a cylinder equation (V= \pi r^{2} h).

We get:
980 \pi  \pi ( 7^{2} )(h)

Then, after solving for what we know:

980 \pi = 49 \pi (h)

Divide both sides by 49 \pi . The  \pi cancels out and you're left with:

20= h

So the height of the cylinder is 20.
